Cosmic Chacha is a photograph shrouded in mystery. We can see strange golden forms immersed in a deep black. It is almost like being in space. If you take the time to observe Cosmic Chacha, you will have the impression that these forms are floating in the universe. A bit like a squadron in search of an unknown object... 

If you live in the West Indies, you will recognize the dry pods full of seeds which, when agitated by the wind, emit the sound of the chacha, one of our musical instruments. These pods come from a tree of Indian origin, which we commonly call the Chacha Tree. Every year, between March and April, they start to "sing" when Lent is at its peak (climatic and religious season, generally sunny and not very rainy, taking place between February and April in Martinique). To collect them, I went to Saint-Pierre, a city of Art and History, where they have a magnificent golden color.

The deep black in which these chachas give the impression of floating is in reality the volcanic sand of one of the many beaches of Le Prêcheur. This beach has the particularity of having a deep black sand, set with shiny sequins, reflections of stars in the infinite space...
